Shrouded in Mystery
I'm not a person who usually buys into hype. Sure, I went to check out Apple's iPhone when it came out. And I stand in line in front of Best Buy if a particularly good movie is being released. But I don't care that much about Playstations or Tickle-Me-Elmos.
However, when I saw this on one of my favorite weblogs, Notebookism, I was instantly intrigued:
It looks like the bare Moleskine book, only with gridded paper and sort of a old-fashioned typesetting feel, like you'll take it on safari to Africa with you to write about elephants.
It's all sort of mysterious right now, but stay tuned! I ordered a pack, and I'll have a full review for you right here soon.
Here's their site.

I like the quote on their site, "I'm not writing it down to remember it later I'm writing it down to remember it now."

That explains it. I loathe marketing hype!

You're right, it probably is. But a little thing like price never seems like a big deal when the sheer marketing hype consumes you. As soon as I get it, I'll be able to tell you whether or not it seems that way to me.
